What Your Earrings Say About Your Personality

Whether I’d opt to love or loathe it, the fact remains that a lot of the presents I normally get are earrings! Well, I was the one who wrought it on myself anyway; with my penchant for that accessory! Each time my girlfriends visit my room, they have similar remarks that my room could pass for a tiangge stall that sells earrings! At that, I can say that earrings have become a part of my system. I have over a hundred pairs and a few other pairs in my vanity pouch. And if some of my friends are reading this- please do not peeve me by giving me another pair, unless of course, it’s a totally new style. I feel so bare without earrings, and I utterly enjoy the tedious process of choosing which pair works best with my wardrobe. Also, as aforementioned, a few of my babies tag along whenever I have multiple events. For example, I come from school, which entails a simple pair of earrings, then I go have coffee with friends, I simply have to get a jazzier pair, and then finally, a nightcap which demands some serious spunk. So, being a self-proclaimed earring guru, I am able to scrutinize and understand the quintessence of ear jewelry, and have narrowed them into four, and what it says about the wearer’s mood or personality.

1. Chandelier earrings - These are the types which are in for so many girls nowadays. Literally mini-chandeliers, these are encrusted with so many clasps, gems and beads - the longer the better! These signify that you are a charming, unconventional young lady who is not afraid to experiment with evolutions, especially when it comes to fashion. It also states that although you may tend to jump on trend wagons, you do not go overboard or lose your personal style in the process. You are a vamp diva!

2. Stud earrings - These tiny earrings showcase how big your personality is! That you do not necessarily let yourself be dictated upon by others unless you also like what they propose. You are very simple yet sweet and chic. You are modest and moderate when it comes to your style. You are a casual laid-back girl, possibly the sporty type; an approachable, girl-next-door ambiance exudes from within you.

3. Vintage earrings - These are the medium-size type of earrings that still catch attention with its seemingly rusty color perfect for a bohemian get-up. You are simply the type who always yearns for the spotlight simply because you deserve it, with you no-nonsense but daring attitude that can makes you get away with almost anything! You are the wild but level-headed party girl, the life of the party, the sage of the story. You are fun-loving, loquacious and amicable.

4. Classic earrings- These are the usual ones made out of gold, precious gems like diamonds, pearls, rubies or garnets. You are truly a classic beauty with your sophisticated sense of style and glamour. Your beauty is effortless and timeless. You are definitely the type who may not really be the apple of everyone’s eye at first glance, but sooner or later many would gape at your astonishing beauty as time progresses.
